²⁰ Immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed Him.^(A)

²¹ Then^(B) they went into Capernaum,^(C) and right away He entered the synagogue^(D) on the Sabbath^(E) and began to teach.^{(F) 22} They were astonished^(G) at His teaching^(H) because, unlike the scribes,^(I) He was teaching them as one having authority.
